My name is Mallory! I am married to a wonderful husband, David. Our journey has been one of lots of twists, turns, speed bumps, road blocks, and detours but more than anything it’s been an exciting, life-changing, dream escalating adventure!

I love to spend time with my family, create on my computer, capture memories through my camera lens, and experiment an extensive collection of Pinterest recipes in my kitchen.

We were married in September 2010. Both born and raised in Iowa, we are long-time sweethearts that were made to perfectly balance each other out. David keeps me organized and focused on the future; while I keep him relaxed, enjoying the little things in the present.

We had no idea what God had in store for us the day we got married. His plans were far bigger than ours and it took a few years of our patience being tested as we grew stronger as a couple and our hearts began opening to adoption. Infertility was the hardest thing I’ve been faced with but it was also something I consider a hidden blessing; a blessing I will always be thankful for. It broke us down and opened us up; both individually and together. It shaped me, strengthened me, matured me, and humbled me. I grew stronger in my faith, realized I had a lot more patience and strength than I gave myself credit for, and wondered if the very worst of my experiences were exactly what I needed to find out what God wanted for us.

In April 2015, we got a call that would forever change our lives. The birthmom of boy/girl twins wanted us to be the parents of her children. Aria and Myles are the light of our lives and have filled our hearts with more love than we could imagine.

A few short weeks later, I took a test that would change our world even more – we were also pregnant!
